Copyright Infringement Notice 
At 9thDegree, we respect intellectual property rights and expect the same from our users. 

If you believe that material available through our platform infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written DMCA notice that includes the following: 

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative. 
  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. 
  1. A description of the material and its location on our site or platform. 
  1. Your contact details — including your address, phone number, and email. 
  1. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 
  1. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our Response Process 
Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, 9thDegree will: 

  • Remove or disable access to the reported material. 
  • Notify the individual who posted the material that a claim has been filed. 
  • Provide information on how to submit a counter-notice if they believe the claim is incorrect. 
  • Keep a record of the claim and any actions taken.  

Counter-Notice Procedure 
If you believe that content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing: 

  1. Your physical or electronic signature. 
  1. Identification of the material that was removed and its original location. 
  1. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error. 
  1. Your name, address, and phone number. 
  1. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your area. 

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in accordance with applicable law.

Repeat Infringer Policy 
9thDegree maintains a policy to address repeat infringement. 

  • Accounts involved in multiple valid copyright violations may be suspended or terminated. 
  • We reserve the right to disable or remove content after a single valid infringement in appropriate cases. 

 

Fair Use Statement 
We respect the doctrine of fair use under copyright law. 

Determinations regarding fair use are made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the purpose, nature, amount, and effect of the use. 

Modifications 
9thDegree reserves the right to update or modify this DMCA Policy at any time.
